Yesterday I finished knitting my first pair of socks! The pattern is here, and I used Cascade sock yarn, which I quite like. A satisfying project indeed.

I’m wearing the scarf to end all scarves. Measuring in at approximately 10 feet (i.e. nearly twice as long as I am), it is a behemoth. 6 skeins of Debbie Bliss Fez. A never-ending train of k4, p4 on size US9 (5.5mm) needles. My science may not being going so well at the moment, but dagnabbit, I did something.

I knitted a Moebius Scarf! It turned out a little big, but it’s soft and comfy. The yarn is Misti Alpaca Chunky. I’ll probably make this again in another color. It’s a very easy little project, and it’s so satisfying when you can finish something in one or two days.
I’m knitting up a storm this weekend! I’m working on a two-color scarf and fingerless mitts. I’m going to try some cabling at some point also. I’m slightly obsessed at the moment.
